Target Audience (Be specific)

Primary audience is young adults as an adventure film can bring adrenalin and more of an appeal to the young adults, but also appeal to the adults.

What is your concept? (Be thorough & specific. Review the links on Blackboard)

My movie will consist of 5 or 6 characters who have been sent to America for the first time and have been sent to find their fellow companion who has been locked up, as the 2 characters have past conflicts being part of the mafia, but the kidnaper likes to play games with riddles clues to mess with their minds and since the characters are new to America, they are having a tough time trying to find where everything is, but eventually they save him. The whole story is based on the mission to get their companion back. They came to America as a group and next thing you know the companion gets kidnapped in the airport, while to kidnapper is in the bathroom waiting to kidnap In the film there will be many camera angles used, close upwide shots, to get the angles of all the action that occurs.

How did you conceive the idea for this concept?

I really enjoy watching adventure movies, so it gave me the idea to create a film that consisted of some of the movies that I've already watched. Me and my friends go on adventures of our own, visit new places and thought it would be cool to do a film incorporation adventure.

What do you believe is unique about your concept?

That the characters can speak another language and can incorporate it into my film. All the action and adventure of the film comes from the riddles and hidden messages that are left behind, which I will come up with unique ideas that go along with the movie.

Why do you believe this product will be of interest to your audience?

Because the audience will be really wrapped and involved in the film and develop feelings for the characters, in the 2 minutes of shooting. Along with character development and an adventure to remember

But the one who does the most saving loves her

The feedback that was given to me after my in-class pitch was extremely helpful to improve my concept and ideas to improve the small details about the film, such as the characters and the background story about my movie. I used the links from the previous week to make my decision about my genre and about my storyline. I tried to include small tiny details about the characters and about the concept, and it helped me to make the storyline follow the general interest of an adventure movie.

The article assigned to film talks about all the ways to create a good concept, which after reading the article I can realize that my concept is understandable and creative. The article suggests that there should be some research before creating your concept, which I did by researching the plot and the storyline of many adventure films. After researching I create the idea to mix some adventure plots from some movies and some from others to create my own concept. In the 2-minute film that I will create there will be many emotions to tell the audience that something sad has occurred. Expression emotion in your film is important to a good concept because you can show that the other characters care about each other. According to the article Exploring the role of meaningful experiences in users' appreciation of "good movies", To explore the concept of audiences' understanding of meaningfulness in the experience of cinema,” which says that the audience pays close attention to the details in the movie, and for it to be a good movie its best to work hard and pay close attention to what the audience wants. This supports my concept as I would like to include character development with emotions so the audience is affected by it. My movie will be about a kidnapping so there is going to be confusion, adventure and suspense which is something I want the audience to feel when watching.
