Production 4- First Edits

 Today I return home form my trip and I was ready with taking the shots that I needed to take again for the film. The flight was so long, but it gave me time to really think about putting everything that I have so far together, the setting and the dialogue included. I came home and uploaded the take-off video, the monorail shot and the shot of the airplane in the sky. The idea of these videos is to make it seem like it’s the main characters point of view. When inserted into premire pro I thought of also including the credits into these few shots as I believe it will fit well as the shots aren’t too distracting. I have not thought about the title yet because I wanted to see how well the filming would come out and decide afterwards on what fits. I feel like I have accomplished a lot this break and finish filming by the first weekend when school starts so I can have time to talk with the actors.

  Overall, I am very proud of the work that I have accomplished. I worked hard to get everything just right throughout the whole filming and editing process. The film is an adventure film and creates suspense throughout the beginning of the film and I am hoping the audience can follow along. I am hoping that the plot of the story is understandable throughout the entire movie.

Production 5- Key Frames

Today is the first day that we are receiving help with using premire pro and it was a great help to me. Although I only had a couple of clips and not the complete film, I was able to add text to the shots and also learned what a key frame is. When wanting to add effects to the video or the text you have to put key frames of when you want it to start and stop. At first it was confusing as to how the different effects worked out but, in the end, we figured it out. I spent some time figuring out how I wanted the words to slide across the scene, and I decided for the first clip to include the title of the film and have it zoom out and fade as the clip is moving. For the clip where the plane is taking off, I decided to include the rest of the credits, such as the producer maybe even come up with a company name and include the rest of the characters.

Post Production 2- Review

 I decided to take one final look over my. movie if there is the need to make anymore corrections. I included subtitles in only one clip to give emphasis to what she is saying. I am satisfied with the work that I have accomplished and I put hard work into completing this portfolio project.
